Zeal Zone

Last Friday we made some wraps and to make warp you need to watch this video:ingredients. If you watch and read what it said in the video then you can make wrap. When you make the wrap you might need a adult because you might need a knife.

Today we made Rice Krispies and it was fun.
What you need:
1/4 cup margarine

10 ounces marshmallows (4 cups mini marshmallows)

6 cups Rice Krispies

1.  Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2.  Add cereal and stir until well coated.

3.  Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 9 x 13 inch pan coated with cooking spray.

4.  Cut into squares when cooled.

Variation: Add 1/4 cup peanut butter to melted marshmallow mixture just before adding cereal. Stir until smooth. Then continue with above steps.You need a parent so you don't get burn and you will be safe hop you enjoy.

My Story

About me and my family:

Hi my name is PehSo Akaw but you can call me PehSo and I have a brother and sister. My brother’s name is Raymon and he goes to Pt England Kindergarten, On October my brother Raymon is coming to Pt England School and also he’s going to be year 1. My sister thida comes to Pt England School and she’s a year 4 also she’s using Chromebook.

Now my mum looks after the house by cleaning and make food for the family and she goes to Selwyn College to learn english and she’s getting better. Now me I go to Pt England School I am 13 year’s old and I’m a year 8. I like to play soccer and other games like on computer and those kind of things.

My culture:

My mum is Thai and my dad is karen but we don’t live with my dad any more. My step dad is burmese and I can speak 4 languages and that’s English, Burmese, Karen and a little bit of thai. I can’t speak thai that much but my mum said I have to go back to Thai after college so I know how to speak thai and also that my hardest languages.

My free time:

In my free time at home I always play minecraft on my mum laptop or if she’s on it I’ll play on my phone. Sometime I go to my friend’s house because nothing to do when i go walk with my mum so i always ask her.When I get to my friends house we play some sports and after we get too hot we start to play some games or watch a movie like Zombieland and Alien Outpost. In the holiday:

In the Holiday before school didn’t start I went to a campsite where I have to dress up like a monk for 12 days. I have to do sitting meditation for 30 mins and walking meditation for 30 mins to.When we eat we only can eat at 7:00 in the morning and 11:00 because after 12:00 we can’t eat for the whole day.Me and my other friend got money because the other people were donating us for dress up to try and meditation.

My Goal

My First Day Back At School

Hi my name is PehSo Akaw and I am a year 8 student in room 2. My teacher name is Miss Clark and she’s a kind teacher. I like to play sports and Computer games too. My Favorite sport is soccer and my Favorite computer game is Mine Craft.

Te Tuhi

The year 7’s and year 8’s went to Te Tuhi to learn about art attack and it was amazing. The first thing we had to do was scrunch up the paper. After we scrunch it up we had to dye it and wait until it drys up. We have to get a paper that’s already made for us so we can get a pastoral and rub in the square.

We have to draw a picture like your Family, your Home , your Culture and your Sport. We had to do lots of staff that was fun and we listen to some story about the artist. Jimmy is the one who talks about art and tell us some stories about the person who draw this or who made the video.

We have to listen or we won’t know what were doing and we have to follow him to. Where not allow to touch the picture because we might break it but we can take photos. After we look at the pictures and listen to the story we have to go back to school so we had to wait for the bus. After a while we got to class and we had to wait until lunch time so we didn't have morning tea.
