Paralympics

Some athletes are blind and some are on the wheelchairs and that it really sad that some have a broken legs but it is all right.

The athletes can play wheelchair basketball or wheelchair tennis. In London  2012, August 29th, there is going to be a Paralympic games and it’s going to be fun.

There is winter and summer Paralympics Game and there are going to be held in London. 4,200 people are going to play the Paralympic games so they can win gold medals .

Cross Country

Last Friday, we had cross country and we went down the reserve. The boys were going to go first but then the girls went first. In cross country some of the boys beat the 9 years old girls and it took them along way to catch up. On the other side of the bridge they was 2 ways and I almost went the other way, but I went left.

Some kids went in the puddle and then some kids got dirty. They had mud everywhere on their body. When I got  there I was going to fall in the water when I was looking down.The mud went all most up to my leg when I was walking.

I got back to school and I didn’t came last and Ron was behind me and I was in front of Rone.
When I almost got to the end I caught up to Ron and the girls. Some of the girls were walking on the
way to school.

The mud was so muddy, like a pig could roll in it. It was squishy and sloppy, I thought it was really deep that you can touch the ground.

I had fun running but I was walking just for a while. I had to jog all the way back to Pt England School and it took me forever because of all the mud and the steps.

Valarie win the gold medals

Valerie Adams lost the gold medal and then Nadzeya won the gold medals because she cheated on shot put by having drugs. Nadzeya got her medal taken away because she told lies that she didn't have drugs. 80,000 people were watching the Olympic shot put and they saw Valerie Adam won the gold medals and they called the New Zealand coach.

I think that Valeri Adam deserves the gold medals because she didn't cheat and she didn't have drugs.

Ancient Olympic flame

  

Did you know that the flames represent the death and the Greek heroes?
A long time ago the ancient  Greeks had war, some heroes died and that is why the flame was lit.

A long time ago they had a relay and they carried a torch then run around the world.The last one to carried the torch has to lite the large torch at the stadium. Some of them walk, ride and scuba dive and that  sometimes takes them a long time.

The first games was held in the Olympia, Greece and it took all of the people a long time to go around the world.The large torch flames are huge, and you might get burnt!
