Te Tuhi

The year 7’s and year 8’s went to Te Tuhi to learn about art attack and it was amazing. The first thing we had to do was scrunch up the paper. After we scrunch it up we had to dye it and wait until it drys up. We have to get a paper that’s already made for us so we can get a pastoral and rub in the square.

We have to draw a picture like your Family, your Home , your Culture and your Sport. We had to do lots of staff that was fun and we listen to some story about the artist. Jimmy is the one who talks about art and tell us some stories about the person who draw this or who made the video.

We have to listen or we won’t know what were doing and we have to follow him to. Where not allow to touch the picture because we might break it but we can take photos. After we look at the pictures and listen to the story we have to go back to school so we had to wait for the bus. After a while we got to class and we had to wait until lunch time so we didn't have morning tea.

Future Aspiration

Future Aspiration

On Wednesday some visitor came to the Intermediate class to talk about Future Aspiration. The first one was Mr Samuels and that was Levis dad, He was talking about his future back in the 90’s. Mr samuels use to be on a T.V show called what now on Saturday morning and that's really funny, Because he made us laugh by show his picture when he joined what now.

Mr Samuels talk about your past and future and so you can do the right thing right time and the right place.The next person was Amelia the fashion girl she talk about make clothes because that’s what she’s good at. Amelia said when she go to university she wants to hold a black hat when you finish university and then she’s going to the hat in the air.

After Amelia finish Paula came and he was the funniest because he can’t swim and he said people mock his name by saying Ebola.At Paul's school he had a swimming pool when it’s summer and then a thing called swimming day. He said that he always win the race because he touch the ground when he’s tired.

Paul’s was so good at swimming so he got pick and went a swimming challenge and he said that he was going to win.When he was racing he look left and right and he saw them slowing down and then he said this is time to use my secret weapon. He tried to put his feet on the ground but he couldn't because the water was too high and then he started to drowned.

A life guard came and pull him out off the swimming pool and then the life guard started to push his stomach.Lots of water came out of his mouth and then he opened his eyes and the only thing he see is people looking at him. His friend was looking at him too and then they started to laugh and punch each other on the arm.

Your past determine your future means do your best never give and you can also be a champion.

Start:Today we are going to show you how to make colour like primary colours and secondary colours.Lets begin and see what colour I make.

What are Primary colours? Primary colours are Red, Yellow and Blue.They are different kind of colours.Theres some other one like Secondary and tertiary colours if you know and thats mean you have to try and mix some colours.

How to make Secondary colours?Blue+Yellow=Green, Blue+Red=Violet, Yellow+Red=Orange.

You have to mix colours so you can get it like green, violet and orange.

All the colours were red, blue, yellow, green, orange and violet.If you keep on mixing 2 colours you will get one colour instead.Thats how you make colour and if you want to learn more you can go on class 5 and see more.

Future Aspiration

Today we went in the street to meet four visitor and they name were Andrew,Jason,Arizona and Alfred. The first person was Andrew and he was talking about his job. he wakes up at 4:00 clock. Andrew job was about radio and his job is a hard one, but once he was finish talking It was another person.

Alfred is the police he told us about the eagle that means you can fly the helicopter and delta is the dog when you can run with the dog.Arizona was talking about herself when she keep on talking when she’s in class.

If you sing in the shower knock the door down with your clothes on.When i grow up I want to be a mechanic but if i don’t get the job i probably work at a McDonald.

Plant and Food Research

On Wednesday we went to the street and sit down on the floor but if you're good you get to sit on the chairs. When we got to the street we have to listen after we listen we see the experiment and it was cool. There’s one when they put Ice in a bottle with water and then you see lot’s of fog. They names were Jacob, Lara and Lora. They shared lots of experiment with us and it was amazing.

They had 3 experiment and the first one to change Cabbage Juice and green dye. After that they put it into a container so they can mix it after they mix it the colour turn into a red and pink colour. They were trying to change the colour of the fruit and veges by change the PH.

The 2nd one was dried ice and a big bottle. Jacob put the ice in the bottle with water then it made steam and the next one was Mr Muscle and the ice made lots of bubbles. If you touch the ice it’s so cold you won't handle it.

The last one was when they put Blue dye in the water and then they mix it and when they took out the stick you could see this kind of thing like play dough.

Not everyone got to answer they question because they went for the other people. Lora and Lara Ask some people some question and then they answer it.

Science Road Show

14-23-5.
We went to the Science Road Show and it was cool because we went with class 2. We get to do lot's of thing and the other one was about a balloon that had oxygen and liquid. After we did that they was a challenge you get to do but one was missing. The People that was at the front was presenters and they were great.

I like doing the challenge but I didn't win the winner was Marker and Sonny they only won a pen. The Experiments was very scary because it was a loud bang but some people scream loud as.

Sound Experiment

In class 5 we went on a site called Sound and Instrument and it was so cool. If you won't to learn about instrument click here. When you play the Sound and Instrument you can pick one of these? The one that I like was The guitar because you can kind of play something if you can but I tried. Some of the Instrument was about match the sound and it was kind of easy but some of them you have to answer the question.

Badminton

Badminton At The Hall

At School Miss Paget Told us to line up outside because we were going to badminton in the hall. Went we a line and then we stop because someone was talk and then we walk again and we were at the hall. We went in the hall then we sat down in 2 line.

It was fun playing badminton because he told us to hold it back hand and front hand. Front one was like a frying pan and the back one was like shaking someone's hand. But First we did a warm up and Our Warm up one was playing stuck in the mud and that was cool.

After we did our warm up we start to practice how to use the bat so we don’t hit anyone. It was fun and some people were hitting it high and then it came back down slowly. When we finish Practising we had to find a partner so we can hit it to each other.

My Partner was Jonson and he was bad at it because he keep on laughing.

My Best Holiday

My Best Holiday

In the holiday I stayed home with my little brother because I did nothing it set playing on my PS2. We were just playing then my brother got angry because I didn't let him play on my PS2. He was going to break my PS2 controllers and then he got a toy and he was going to throw it at me.

It started to get boring in the holiday so I ask my mum if we can go to the library so I can Book me on a computer. When I got on a computer I played a game called running Fred and it’s kind of a cool game. Then my brother wanted to go on a computer and I let him play the game that I played.

1 hour later my mum went home and she told me to stay at the library so she can pick me up later.When I got bored at the library I just wait for a computer and go on it until my mum comes and pick me up.I stayed at the library for a long time because I booked myself at 1:00 and 2:00 and then I got hungry and my mum came and pick me up.

I got home and then I went to the kitchen and eat lots of food. On Sunday when it was 1 more day until school I went to Jonson house and we were doing this kind of drawing called GIMP. You can draw a picture then you some kind of staff and then it will start to look real and Jonson made a big chocolate Easter Egg.

Jonson was telling me about the Lego movie and it sound call and I've seen some of the parts I might watch the full movie. Then it was school that’s when we did Immersion Assembly it was so cool because there was balloons and when watch movies as well. After Immersion Assembly we have to write about it and it’s kind of long to write it.

Immersion Assembly

At Assembly I saw some balloon and then Mr Burt told some of the prefix to cut the balloon so it will float. Mr Burt even done it to a small taxi that he had it for a long time and then it was Team 1. Team 1 was about them going to the Zoo and they were going to find out how they keep the animals safe.

Then they was Team 2 they one was about flying an airplane and even Gravity. Team 2 one was funny because the airplane that they made keep on falling. Then They was Team 3 and they one was about colours, rainbow and waves they one was very very amazing.

Team 4 was about Floating and sinking and they had a movie and that was cool and my old teacher was in it Mr S. The last Team was Team 5 and they one had my teacher Miss Paget and they did Sound. Team 5 had a movie of them playing their instruments and that was so so cool.

Fia Fia

On Thursday the 8th Was Fia Fia and I can’t wait to go, So we had to Practices and Practices until we got it right. We had to Practices a long time and it was hard. We get to have a drink at the end of Practices but it was so long some people wanted a drink so badly.

For Fia Fia my teacher was Miss She and Miss Squires, They give use some treat as well only if we be good. When Fia Fia started, I couldn’t go because my mum won’t let me go to Fia Fia and I just had to stay home. My friends went to FIa Fia like Jonson Pairs and some other people.

My group name was called the asian group and It was kind of Amazing but, I didn’t get to be the head because I didn’t come to Fia Fia. I missed Fia Fia This year but next year I might go and be in another group. Next Year I won’t to been in Jump Jam, Hip Hop or be in a group with my friends.

Science with Mr Barks

At Pt England school we get to do science, we got to mix lots of things like liquid soap and vegetable oil. I like doing science because we get to do fun stuff and not boring and we do it as a group. Sometime science is dangerous because you can make explosion and toxic wastes.

We have to observe to see what's happen to the soap and oil. Science is hard because you have to concentrate and not make a mistake or something might happen. I did science in class 1 and we did cool things that were hard.

How do I get to school

18/02/14

In the morning my mum woke me up because I was going to be late for school. So she said

“make your breakfast and brush your teeth” and then I did. I came out of the bathroom and then I went and eat my breakfast and then I just went in my room to watch pokemon. After watching pokemon I was in my car and I saw Jonson when I went by.

I scream out of my car “JONSON” and he saw me and said “Aye PehSo”. I got to school and the bell hasn't rung yet but the door was open and I went in and hang my bag on the chair. I’m at school now and the class has to do writing.

I mostly come late sometime because I woke up late. So at morning tea and lunch time me and Jonson have to go to the staff room to do our cleaning job it’s kind of easy. Last night I watch the muppet show and it was cool and then I sleep late. I some time walk and I sometime go in my car I think walking is better because you can walk with your friend not like Jonson because he run away.

Once we get to school Miss Paget mark the roll and if you're late you have to go to the office and tell them you're late.

My sister comes to the school and she’s a year 3 and my little brother goes to pt england kindergarten.I am a year 7 in class five and that's kind of cool.
